Our Story
From PhysioPal to Thera
Founded by Alex Edwards, Thera grew from PhysioPal — a physiotherapy platform — into Australia's allied health marketplace. What started as a way to connect physiotherapists with aged care organisations quickly revealed a much larger opportunity.
The aged care sector was struggling to access reliable allied health supply. Providers wanted flexible work but lacked a platform to find it. Organisations needed qualified professionals but couldn't find them consistently.
Thera bridges that gap. By expanding beyond physiotherapy to include occupational therapy, nursing, speech pathology, dietetics, podiatry, and massage therapy, we've built a platform that serves the full spectrum of allied health needs.
